Directions :

Leaving Dalyan on Ataturk Bulvari road and head towards the roundabout. At the roundabout, the left turn takes you towards the Jandarma and the football satdia and the right turn taking towards Ortaca and Dalaman. Go straight on towards Eskiköy.

Follow the road heading towards Eskiköy, where the road bends to the right towards Eskiköy you will see a sign saying ‘Yeni Adet’ and a track to the left . Take this track.

Keep on the track and you will reach a bend in the road over a dyke where the road goes round to the right. At this bend the rocky Outcrop will be directly in front of you and there is a dirt track heading towards it. Take this track.

Follow the track until you reach a canal where the track turns to the right. Keep going and you will come across a bridge over the canal to your left, next to a farm on your right. Cross over the bridge. Note the the trees to the right of the bridge and behind the animal shed, it is a favoured  place where the White throated Kingfisher perches at times.

I usually take a clockwise route around the rocky outcrop to find a route which will enable you to walk to the top of the outcrop giving good views over the lake in front of you and the farmland behind and to the side of you, however you can wonder in any direction that takes your fancy before returning to Dalyan.
