Medium-sized, strong-billed, long-tailed, and sprightly chat, with posture frequently recalling Wren. Plumage essentially bright rufous- to grey-brown above and buff-white below, with obvious pale supercilium, double wing-bar, and diagnostic orange-rufous tail broadly tipped black and white.
Display flight ‘butterfly-like’. Most characteristically, cocks tail right up over back, producing almost U-shaped bird set up
Seen at both Eskiköy sites in summer
